This prices a lawn per cut from its size the way a crew quotes on the doorstep. Square feet over a thousand times your price per thousand is the mowing; trim, edge and blow go on as their own line; your minimum per cut sits beside the computed price so you can see which one wins; and the season is the per-cut price times the cuts. Every figure is yours; the chart publishes no market rate. Free, on the page, no account; the paid plan saves each priced lawn against the customer.
Square feet over a thousand, times your rate
The mowing price is the turf area in thousands of square feet at your own rate per thousand, and both are shown, because a per-cut figure with nothing behind it is the one the customer argues with. Measure the turf, not the lot: the house, the drive and the beds do not get mowed, and a chart built on the parcel size overprices the small lots and underprices the open ones.
Trim, edge and blow are a line, not a rounding
The trim is time the mower does not spend, and it varies by the lawn: a fenced yard with beds takes longer to edge than an open front. It goes on as its own line at your figure rather than being folded into the rate, so a lawn that is all edge and no turf is still priced for the time it takes.
Your minimum decides, and the season shows the route's worth
Below a certain price the stop loses money on the drive alone, and that is your minimum. The chart shows it beside the computed price so the crew sees which wins; the higher figure is the quote. The season at the number of cuts is what the lawn is worth to the route, and it is the number to compare against a stop across town.
Lawn care pricing chart: common questions
Is this a free lawn care pricing chart?
Yes. Enter the square feet, your rate per thousand, the trim, your minimum and the cuts in the season, and it prices the lawn per cut on the page with no account and no card. Print it as it stands. MowRouteWorks Pro adds your business name and logo and saves each priced lawn against the customer so the estimate and the invoice start from it.
How much should I charge per thousand square feet?
Your figure, entered as the rate; the worked example uses $6 to show the arithmetic. It should carry your crew rate, your machine, fuel and the time the average lawn on your route takes, and it will differ between open turf and small fenced yards, which is why the trim is a separate line.
Should I quote weekly or every other week?
Quote per cut either way and let the season figure show the difference: 26 cuts and 13 cuts at the same per-cut price are two very different routes. Many crews price every-other-week higher per cut because the grass is longer; enter the higher per-thousand rate and compare the seasons.
